Why this show exists
Douala is not short of talent. It is short of stages. Every year, dancers, rappers, singers and whole teams work in borrowed halls and courtyards without ever meeting an audience beyond their own neighbourhood.
THE SUMMER SHOW exists for exactly that reason: to put all of them in one place, for five days, in front of people. A floor to exhibit on, a stage to perform on, courts to play on.

What is it, exactly?
A five day showcase in Douala. Exhibitors hold stands through the day, four disciplines run castings and then finals, and the stage runs from mid afternoon to late.
Is a pass for one day or for all five?
For all five. One pass covers the whole run, whichever tier you take.
Why does my ticket come in two versions?
Because one is made to be posted and the other to get you in. The shareable version carries no code, so it is safe to put in a story. The access version carries your code, it works exactly once, and whoever scans it before you gets in instead of you.
How do I enter to perform?
Through the Compete page. Pick your discipline, settle the 2 000 FCFA casting fee, and you get a call sheet to bring on the day along with photo identification.
Is the casting fee refunded if I am not kept?
No. It covers running the casting itself, whatever the outcome. It does get you into the show on the day you perform.
Who can take a stand?
Anything with something to show: streetwear labels, studios, dance schools, sports clubs, food, associations. The three levels differ by footprint and by position on the floor.
How do I pay?
By mobile money, or at the door. Paying at the door leaves your ticket as a reservation until you have been through the desk.
Where is it?
In Douala. The exact venue is being confirmed and will be announced here and on Instagram well before the doors open.
